New to ritual or looking for a practice tune-up? Embrace the basics and your personal practices will feel more resonate than ever! ๐๐๐
1. Be realistic
Whether itโs your time, space, supplies, or interest level, know your capacity and what feels good to you. Start small and with what you have, allowing your personal practice to grow with you in the process.
Guiding questions:
- Can I maintain this expectation?
- Do I want to do this practice?
- Do I have what I need?
2. Keep it personaL
Practices should always be personal which means your practice will be unique to you in every way. Resist following a trend or aesthetic and instead move in a direction that aligns with your vision and intention.
Guiding questions:
- Why am I choosing this practice?
- Is my practice about me?
- Does this feel good?
3. Stay regular
If your practice feels like a chore, you likely will not get out of it what you had originally intended. Consistency is the name of the game but consistency can take many forms. Find a schedule that works for you and commit to your practice.
Guiding questions:
- Am I ready to commit to myself?
- Does my practice excite me?
- Do I enjoy my practice?
